Several businesses remain closed in Thai capital due to COVID-19 surge

Bangkok, Jun 1 (EFE/EPA).- Several businesses in Thai capital continued to close Tuesday after Thailand's Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) announced the delay of the reopening of certain businesses due to a rise in COVID-19 infections.The businesses that need to remain closed for another 14 days include entertainment venue, gyms, boxing stadiums, massage parlors, spa as well as beauty salons.Thailand has so far recorded over 160,000 COVID-19 cases and over 1,000 deaths since the beginning of pandemic.
