Irun, Aug 9 (EFE).- Hundreds of people gathered on Monday in the Gipuzkoa municipality of Irun, northern Spain, to mourn the death of a migrant who drowned while trying to cross the Bidasoa river into France.The demonstrators also called for immigration policies that could end such tragedies.The waters of the Bidasoa River, which acts as the natural border between Spain and France, claimed the life of another migrant who was trying to access French territory this Sunday.
