Increased propensity to get Covid-19 jab in Sri Lanka after daily record high

Colombo, Aug 10 (EFE/EPA).-According to the Health Authorities of Sri Lanka, 111 Covid-19 deaths were reported in Sri Lanka on Monday, the highest ever number recorded on a daily basis. The Indian Ocean island nation is currently in the midst of the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic and the number of cases is increasing day by day. Sri Lanka has so far recorded a total of 332,947 Covid-19 cases with 5,222 deaths while a total of 11,260,795 people have received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine and 3,249,670 have already received the second one.
