Managua,Jul 12 (EFE).- The Nicaraguan presidential candidate of the opposition María Asunción Moreno did not appear Monday for her scheduled appointment with the Public Ministry, amid the series of arrests of dissident political leaders four months before the general elections.Moreno, a law professor and constitutional lawyer who was scheduled to testify before the Prosecutor's Office Monday, did not appear nor justify her absence.She does not answer calls or messages that are sent to her mobile phone, as per Efe's verification. Navalni was returning to Russia after almost five months of medical treatment and rehabilitation in Germany due to a poisoning attempt which he was victim of in Siberia and for which he holds Russian President Vladimir Putin directly responsible. Russian police detain over 100 people after Kremlin critics gathered for a protest in central Moscow to protest controversial changes to the constitution, the OVD-Info monitor said.
