France pension reform: Unions say 800,000 people attend Paris rally

Protesters clashed with police on Thursday during a major demonstration in Paris against President Emmanuel Macron's pensions reform. Police fired teargas and baton-charged crowds on on the Grands Boulevards thoroughfare after some protesters were seen throwing stones and directing fireworks at the security forces, live television pictures showed. FRANCE 24's French Politics Editor Marc Perelman tells us more.
