EU attacks UK NIreland bill as 'damaging to mutual trust': Sefcovic

Maros Sefcovic, the European Commissioner responsible for handling the EU's fraught ties with the UK government, says "unilateral action is damaging to mutual trust" after the UK government on Monday introduced legislation proposing a unilateral overhaul to the post-Brexit trade deal it signed for Northern Ireland. "The Commission will now assess the UK draft legislation," Sefcovic adds. SOUNDBITE
