The Lamborghini Urus Performante makes its dynamic debut with international media and dealers at Autodromo Vallelunga, Rome. In its home country, the new Performante version of the Urus Super SUV again proved its prowess on tarmac as well as dirt track, having set a new official benchmark even prior to its launch by taking the Pikes Peak record for production SUVs in a time of 10:32:064: 17 seconds ahead of the previous record holder.The Urus Performante raises the bar in every respect. Delivering increased power of 666 CV, it sets the best weight-to-power reference in its segment with a new lightweight, aerodynamic design, chassis set-up and sporty driving dynamics with specific drive mode calibration, including the new Rally mode dedicated to the Performante version of the Urus. The Urus Performante delivers 850 Nm of torque at just 2,300 rpm, acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, and a top speed of 306 km/h.For the driving premier of the Urus Performante, Automobili Lamborghini returned to the Rome and Vallelunga venues where the original Urus held its dynamic debut in 2018: then, it set the benchmark for a new category of Super SUV, and heralded the delivery worldwide of more than 21,000 Urus over the next four years with over 80% of clients new to the Lamborghini brand. At this month’s dynamic launch of the Urus Performante, participating media and dealers also had their first sight of the recently-announced Urus S: the Super SUV model that replaces the original Urus.
The Lamborghini Revuelto continues the Italian super sports car company’s V12 heritage, taking it into a new, electrified future as the first series production hybrid model. Unveiled in Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary year, the Revuelto redefines super sports performance and driving dynamics through a new design and powertrain, new maximum efficiency aerodynamics and a new carbon frame concept. Its 1015 CV is delivered from an entirely new twelve-cylinder combustion engine, alongside three electric motors powered by a lithium-ion battery pack supporting a fully-electric drive mode, and a new double-clutch gearbox. Deliveries will start in last quarter of 2023.
It's been a busy winter for Automobili Lamborghini, which has been clocking up kilometers on roads all over Europe. Amidst breathtaking scenery and evocative locations, the super sports cars from Sant'Agata Bolognese took on Europe's most beautiful routes through sun, rain, snow and ice, always guaranteeing the highest levels of performance and driving enjoyment.In January a convoy of Urus Performante, Urus S, Huracán STO and Huracán Tecnica paraded along the snowy roads between Denmark and Sweden, delighting onlookers in the fairy-tale setting. The activity wasn’t just focused on the roar of Lamborghini engines however: as often happens during Lamborghini events, driving is combined with unique experiences that remain etched in the memory of those who experience them. The event in Scandinavia made a stop in the evocative Tower of 'The Plant', a converted factory in which containers were built for years and then transformed into a paper mill. While able to take a look at the Huracán Sterrato, guests were intrigued by chef Mattia Risaliti explaining the similarities between culinary art and various aspects in which absolute excellence is expressed in all its forms, a synthesis of Lamborghini's brand philosophy.
Lamborghini returns to the ice in Livigno with Esperienza Neve in the beautiful setting of the Alps, where guests can test drive the entire Lamborghini range on the snowy circuit accompanied by Lamborghini Accademia drivers, including Factory Driver Leonardo Pulcini and Super Trofeo drivers.The 2023 edition stars the Huracán EVO, Huracán STO, Huracán Tecnica and Urus Performante. Under varying temperature conditions, with lows of up to -18°C, and in the perfect dynamic environment for a fun-to-drive experience, every rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive car has the chance to express its capabilities in a different way on the ice track: a unique burst of color set against the white of the snow and ice.This Automobili Lamborghini program, held in Livigno for the eighth year running, involves a series of exercises to practice driving on low-grip surfaces and become familiar with the different models, ensuring that every participant has the chance to maximize their potential and discover the performance of the Lamborghini super sports car on winter tracks. All of this, of course, without compromising on fun or safety.
For the first time since its dynamic launch, the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica set out to showcase the different souls it carries within. The winding and scenic roads of Sardinia were the perfect setting to prove both its performance orientation as well as its fun-to-drive character enjoyed by everyone who takes its wheel.Starting and finishing point of this Lamborghini Lifestyle Experience was the Lamborghini Lounge in Porto Cervo, situated within the marina. For the fourth year in a row, the temporary lounge had opened its doors for over two months for customers to explore the brand, including appointments with a specialist to discover the exclusive configuration opportunities that the Lamborghini Ad Personam program offers to clients of the Italian super sports car manufacturer. Ad Personam has constantly expanded the seemingly endless personalization possibilities and its success is confirmed by a steady growing customer demand.The Huracán Tecnica, however, wasn’t the sole star on the Sardinian roads: it was accompanied by its sibling, the even more track and performance-oriented Huracán STO. The typically colorful specifications of the Tecnica and STO didn’t only leave behind delighted passers-by, but also created opportunities for memorable photo and video productions on the Italian island.
