Speaking to the G20 summit in Bali, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says he is "convinced now is the time when Russia's destructive war must, and can, be stopped". He also suggests that an "all for all" prisoner swap with Russia is the "only realistic model".
The UN General Assembly adopts a new non-binding resolution that demands an "immediate" halt to Russia's war in Ukraine. In a vote at UN headquarters in New York, 140 countries voted in favor, 38 abstained and five voted against the measure. IMAGES
Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereschuk calls on Russia "to immediately agree" on routes for humanitarian corridors to evacuate civilians "from Sumy to Poltava". An airstrike on the Ukrainian city of Sumy has killed at least 21 people, according to a local official.
