Firefighters put out a fire following a Russian drone strike in Ukraine's Kharkiv, which hit civilian infrastructure, including a building of the Kharkiv College of Transport Technology. There was no immediate report of casualties. IMAGES
The White House condemns a "horrifying" strike that killed at least 51 people in a village in eastern Ukraine, saying the attack underscored the need to keep supporting Kyiv against Russia. A video published by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service show firefighters putting out a fire at a residential building in Lviv. Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said "many missiles were shot down", but that "residential buildings got hit" in the strike. "Fortunately, there were no casualties. Unfortunately, there is a lot of damage," he said on Telegram. "More than 100 apartments were damaged, more than 500 windows were broken, and a kindergarten was destroyed" after a missile flew into its yard, he said. He said four people were wounded but "there is no threat to their lives". IMAGES
