US President Joe Biden will meet with French counterpart Emmanuel Macron in Rome on Friday, ahead of the G20 summit, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan tells reporters. The meeting is billed as a chance to settle a dispute that erupted after Australia scrapped a deal to buy French conventional submarines in favor of a new plan to acquire US nuclear-powered submarines. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been named Time magazine's Person of the Year for 2020. The President and Vice-President elect were chosen for the honor over finalists that included President Donald Trump. Also on the list were frontline health workers with Dr. Anthony Fauci.
