Police Arrest 3 More After Footage Of London Attack Appears

Description

British police have confirmed that they arrested three more suspects from the deadly attacks at the London Bridge on Saturday after footage of the moment the officers shot and killed the assailants appeared online. Counter terrorism officers arrested two men on the street in Ilford, east London, late on Wednesday, while a third was arrested at a nearby house. Two of the men were held on suspicion of preparing acts of terrorism while the third was detained over suspected drugs. The footage of the police opening fire on attackers Khuram Butt, Rachid Redouane and Youssef Zaghba shows the men cornering and stabbing a victim before the attackers are shot and killed. Police have now made more than a dozen arrests related to the attacks, but most have been released without charge.
