Mark Hamill Discusses Impact of 'Star Wars' on His Life

While at the Tony Awards on Sunday night, actor Hark Hamill admitted that he can't imagine what his life would have been like without being cast in the "Star Wars," movies. Hamill, who will appear in December's 'Episode 8', said, "In terms of being swept up in it and being such a part of the fabric of your life, I don't know. I can't imagine my life without it." Hamill, who was first cast as Jedi Luke Skywalker by George Lucas in 1977's "Star Wars, went on to say that his favorite film in the franchise is "The Empire Strikes Back." The actor explained of 'Empire', "It had a spiritual, cerebral element to it that the earlier film didn't. Because of Yoda, because of an amazing twist ending, I think I favor that one."
