Nielsen Releases Ratings for 2017 Emmy Awards

Description

According to Nielsen, the 69th annual Emmy Awards pulled in 11.38 million total viewers Sunday night. That number is even with last year’s Emmy Awards on ABC, which is the all-time low for the show. Nielsen adds that among adults in the coveted 18-49 demographic, the 2017 Emmys had a 2.5 rating, which is slightly down from the 2.8 last year's award show generated. The Emmys, which was hosted by Stephen Colbert, was down 2.4 percent overall in metered market ratings from 2016.
