George R.R. Martin Working With 'Game of Thrones' Writers On Prequel Series

Bryan Cogman, who has written 10 episodes of HBO's hit series Game of Thrones and also serves as an executive producer, “is penning a drama series follow-up to the blockbuster franchise,” according to Entertainment Weekly. They say he's working closely with author George R.R. Martin on what's being teased as one of four ideas for a prequel series. Don't expect the series too soon, though.
