The 2014 Palm Springs Film Festival is in full swing and there is no question the A-listers are all there. Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts stopped to chat with us and show some love on the red carpet among other top celebs.
Big stars came out for the "Hollywood Film Awards" in Beverly Hills. Kanye gave a special award to Director Steve McQueen a couple of hours before his big proposal. Other award winners were Matthew McConaughey, Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts (in her bare feet), Jake Gyllenhaal, Lee Daniels and Jared Leto.

The price was a record for a new Porsche sold at auction, according to the auction house.The sale reunited members of the original Cars team who created both the car in the Disney and Pixar film and the life-size Sally Carrera, based on a 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera. That team included actress Bonnie Hunt, the voice of Sally Carrera, Jay Ward, Creative Director of Franchise at Pixar Animation Studios, and Bob Pauley, who, as Production Designer for Cars, sketched Sally for the first time 20 years ago. They were joined by Kjell Gruner, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), and key members of Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’s Sonderwunsch team including Alexander Fabig and Boris Apenbrink.

The 718 Cayman GT4 RS sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 315 km/h.The new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS can now be ordered at a base price of 141,338 euros (including 19 per cent VAT). Deliveries are set to commence in December. At the same time, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport racing version will celebrate its premiere in Los Angeles. From 2022, the customer sports car will be launched in multiple national and international racing series.
