Now, Newser reports prosecutors now have a theory in the notorious and grisly unsolved murder. Last week, Odom's roommates—Cory Martin, 33, and Adelle Anderson, 32—were charged with federal wire fraud and identity theft crime. What's more, prosecutors say text messages and YouTube searches have led them to believe Martin killed Odom. They say further charges may come. Martin bought a reciprocating saw from Home Depot, then performed YouTube searches on 'how to insert blade for reciprocating saw.' Prosecutors believe Martin killed Odom so that he and Anderson could collect on two life insurance payouts, totaling $200,000.

  • Man Robs Elderly Jogger As She Lay Dying On St. Louis Sidewalk

    A 64-year-old St. Louis woman went for a jog around her neighborhood, and ultimately collapsed on the sidewalk. Surveillance video later revealed a man pulled up in a van, got out, and approached the woman. But rather than being a Good Samaritan and helping the woman as she lay dying, he stole her phone and drove away. The unnamed woman later died in the hospital. According to Newser, authorities say Brian Davenport, 35, was arrested Monday and is charged with felony stealing.

    An exotic Goeldi's money was spotted wildly jumping from table to table at a McDonald's fast food restaurant in Gothenburg. It's not been determined how the animal got into the restaurant. Local police have launched an investigation into the suspected theft.
