Cañizares).- Spain has begun the first phase of exiting quarantine, with exception of the islands of La Gomera, El Hierro, La Graciosa and Formentera, which will be advanced to Phase 1. Heavy rains have caused flooding in the east of Spain. In the Castelló province, firefighters rescued people trapped in their cars. The Spanish state meteorological agency (AEMET) has announced a risk alert for almost half of the country, including a red alert around Madrid, where citizens have received an emergency message to their mobile phones advising them to stay at home.
