NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg says that NATO defence ministers tasked military commanders to come up with plans to bolster the alliance's eastern flank after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. SOUNDBITE

NATO and the European Union vow to bolster their backing for Ukraine to fight off Russia's invasion. "We must continue to strengthen the partnership between NATO and the European Union.
