The all-new SEAT Leon is the brand’s first fully connected vehicle, offering connectivity with Full Link - Android Auto and also wireless access to Apple’s CarPlay - and, online infotainment and will offer in-car apps in the near future that expand and improve the customer’s driving experience. Once out of the vehicle, users can access their vehicle’s data remotely and also manage the charging process and control the air conditioning remotely (in the case of the plug-in hybrid version).The number of in-car and online services will grow through the life of the vehicle as the digital eco-system expands, enhancing the user experience.
The all-new SEAT Leon is the first SEAT model to offer five different technologies that adapt to almost all drivers. A suite of new powertrain technologies; petrol (TSI), diesel (TDI), mild-hybrid (eTSI), plug-in hybrid (eHybrid) and compressed natural gas (TGI), mean consumers can choose the vehicle that most closely matches their lifestyle and needs, while at the same time providing the efficiency and performance demanded by the market. In total, there are eleven different mechanical variants, with power outputs ranging from 90 PS with the 1.0 TSI to 204 PS with the SEAT Leon eHybrid. All of them stand out for their efficient consumption, performance and low emissions, and allow consumers to choose the vehicle that best adapts to their needs. The all-new SEAT Leon offers different predefined drive mode – Eco, Normal, Comfort and Sport – to the driver. With the individual drive mode, the driver is able to adapt the car to the personal needs, thanks to the new DCC slider.
With the new SEAT Arona 1.0 TGI and two other new CNG versions, namely the SEAT Ibiza and the SEAT Leon, the Spanish carmaker is further expanding its pioneering position in compressed natural gas (CNG) powered vehicles.Even financially, it has never been so attractive to opt for a CNG model from SEAT as a customer. In order to further advance CNG technology as an efficient alternative engine, SEAT Germany is granting its customers, who opt for one of the new TGI models, a discount on the purchase price by the end of the second quarter of 2019 in the same price as a motorized and equipped one TSI vehicle. Depending on the model, buyers of a CNG vehicle from SEAT save up to € 1,500 compared to the list price.
