German car manufacturer BMW unveiled its brand new i8 Roadster model at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show on Wednesday. The i8 Roadster is a two-seater hybrid sports car featuring a soft-electric top and an aluminium body with a carbon-fiber passenger cell.The car comes with a battery that has an electric-only range of up to 18 miles before the 3 cylinder, 369 horsepower gas engines joins in. The i8 hybrid roadster is fast - its top speed is 155 mph and the sleek vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 4.4 seconds.

BMW presented a level five autonomous driving car at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Monday, a car that would allow its driver to completely take his or her mind off the road, enabling the driver to eat, watch a movie, or even sleep behind the wheel. However, the level five autonomous car still has a way to go before being realised. In the meantime, BMW expects to get level 3 autonomous vehicles called iNEXT on the road by 2021.
It may not look like it, but this new supercar is nearly entirely 3D printed. That's right, the chassis parts of the Blade Supercar, manufactured by automaker Divergent 3D, was printed out of composite materials and put together by hand. Divergent 3D CEO Kevin Czinger was on site as his company presented their Blade Supercar at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Wednesday. Oh, did we mention that the Blade is federally approved for highway travel? Powered by a 700 hp, 4-cylinder turbocharged internal combustion engine, the Blade can go from 0 to 60mph in 2.5 seconds
