You Can Now Stream Tyler, the Creator's New Album 'Cherry Bomb'

Just four days after Tyler, the Creator alerted fans that he was rush-releasing his new album Cherry Bomb , the Odd Future rapper's third studio LP arrived on iTunes and streaming services. Physical copies of Cherry Bomb , complete with five different album covers, will arrive April 28th, but in the meantime, stream the new album, which Tyler produced entirely by himself. Cherry Bomb is relatively light on guests – none of his fellow Odd Future members appear for the first time on a Tyler album – but the rapper did manage to secure a few high-profile cameos: Kanye West and Lil Wayne both stop by for "Smuckers," Schoolboy Q lends a verse to "The Brownstains" and Pharrell Williams – one of Tyler's idols whose side project N.E.R.D. inspired Cherry Bomb 's sound– appears on the experimental, Clipse-quoting "Keep Da O's."

  • Eminem Admits He Went 'Too Far' By Calling Tyler, The Creator, A Homophobic Slur

In a song off Eminem’s latest album, the rapper calls Tyler, the Creator a homophobic slur. Among many listeners who were outright in expressing their disgust on social media about the line, Imagine Dragons frontman and LGBTQ rights advocate Dan Reynolds was among the song’s most prominent critics. According to HuffPost, on Thursday, Eminem sat down with rapper Sway for an interview and addressed the backlash, saying he now believes he crossed a line by including the slur. Eminem explains, “The word that I called him on that song was one of the things where I felt like, ‘This might be too far.’ Because in my quest to hurt him, I realized that I was hurting a lot of other people by saying it.” Eminem’s swipe may have been intended as a clapback after Tyler, the Creator criticized Eminem’s song “Walk on Water,” last year.
