US Senator and former Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz was booed off stage during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Wednesday, with attendees chanting "We want Trump" during his address. Despite congratulating Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on being announced as the party's official candidate, Trump supporters hit back when Cruz encouraged voters to support Republican candidates "you trust to be faithful to the Constitution."
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump arrived in Cleveland by helicopter for the Republican National Convention on Wednesday while protesters raged against his candidacy just outside. At his arrival, Trump stepped out of the helicopter emblazoned with a giant Trump logo and was greeted by his family and his vice-presidential running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence.
