Will "Doctor Strange" Kill Opening Weekend?

Description

Marvel’s Doctor Strange is already earning high figures internationally, and is set to release in North America this week. Positive reviews and stunning 3D visuals are anticipated to help make the film another big hit for the MCU franchise. Now the big question is how much it will make in its opening weekend. Early projections indicated anywhere in the range of $55-75 million, but now that the movie is close to opening, the predictions have been adjusted. Box office estimates currently stand at $65 million for the low point, and anything mid-$70 million as the high. There’s a strong chance Doctor Strange posts the tenth-highest opening weekend in the MCU.
