In footage courtesy of the Columbus Police Department, Columbus Police Chief Kim Jacobs confirmed on Thursday that one of her officers had shot dead a black 13-year-old male, identified as Tyre King, after he was seen holding a BB gun during a police search for assailants in an armed robbery. The weapon recovered from the scene was identified to be a BB gun. Jacobs showed a replica image of the gun to press.
What should have been a peaceful anti police violence protest in Dallas turned bloody when snipers opened fire and killed at least 5 officers and wounded 6 others.
