What Did Critics Think of Female Ghostbusters?

Description

Sony Pictures screened the new, female-driven Ghostbusters to the press last week. The first wave of reviews are coming in and, for the most part, they are surprisingly positive. Based on 41 reviews so far, movie revie aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes gives Ghostbusters a 76% fresh rating. The general consensus among reviewers is that the main cast does wonderful job of fully-formed and entertaining characters. But the flick apparently suffers from an unsatisfying third-act and desperatly needed to score major nostalgia points with fans of the original.
