The FBI have arrested three people linked to the couple responsible for December's mass shooting in San Bernardino. Yiming Woo reports.
Vallejo California residents Denise Huskins and Aaron Quinn were accused of faking a kidnapping, but on Monday July 13, the FBI announced the arrest of 38-year-old Matthew Muller, an ex-Marine and Harvard University graduate. The FBI now suspects Muller was the culprit in the home invasion and kidnapping incident originally reported by Huskins and Quinn in late March.
Federal agents have charged an Iraqi-born American citizen, described as an ex-military translator, for allegedly lying about pledging allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State.
At least six men were arrested on Sunday in connection to an on-going investigation of U.S. residents traveling to Syria to support the Islamic State.
Aid is airdropped into northern Gaza as the Israeli-Hamas war enters its seventh month. Talks in Cairo towards a Gaza truce and hostage release deal have made "significant progress", Egyptian state-linked media reported Monday, more than half a year into the war started by the October 7 attack.
