Millions of Muslim pilgrims have congregated outside Mecca, many of them praying for an end to the wars in the Middle East, as the annual haj reaches its climax. Mana Rabiee reports.
Pilgrims begin arriving for the start of World Youth Day in Lisbon, Portugal. The week-long event is the world's largest Catholic gathering, with around 300,000 people expected to attend this year.
