This bright yellow speed demon is called the Jet Bus, and it's probably the fastest school bus ever built, all thanks to a powerful jet engine. Created by the Gerd Habermann Racing Group, the jet bus is propelled by a kerosene-powered Westinghouse J34 turbine, which generates an astonishing 25,000 horsepower. It went on display at the 2017 Essen Motor Show in Germany this weekend.

South Korea successfully launches its homegrown Nuri rocket en route to placing working satellites into orbit, which the country hailed as a key step forward for the country's burgeoning space programme.
