Just as Ray Allen was a star on the court, the world debut of his Maserati Levante GTS ONE OF ONE is sure to be the star of the 2019 New York International Auto Show. This latest creation of Maserati’s ONE OF ONE customization program is entirely personalized for the two-time NBA Champion and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee. Yesterday in New York Ray received the keys to his never seen before Maserati Levante GTS ONE OF ONE and consumers will be able to view his unique vehicle during the auto show. The Centro Stile Maserati worked alongside Ray to configure his vehicle in a process of shared creation based on a broad concept to capture his love for Miami. In this unique project, Ray spoke about himself, his victories and his personal history, and created a special bond with the Italian based design team that translated Ray’s vision into a truly unique, personally customized Maserati Levante GTS SUV. This special Maserati Levante GTS ONE OF ONE features “Blu Astro” tri-coat exterior paint, inspired by the astral blue color of the galaxy, but also the colors of the magical city of Miami. Thanks to the matte finish, the overall chromatic effect is luminous and vibrant, but also metallic and anodized, giving the car a sportier and more technical look, also conveyed by carbon fiber exterior details on the side mirror covers and door handles.

"Joining the performance family, Audi Sport launches its latest RS model - the Audi RS5 Sportback. Making its world debut at the 2018 New York International Auto Show, the RS5 Sportback offers a balance of high design and driving dynamics. The 2019 RS5 Sportback represents the latest model in the highly successful Audi Sport family, with breakthrough 5-door coupe design and exceptional performance. ""The Audi RS5 Sportback is a completely new offer for our customers. Our progressive interpretation of a five-door high-performance coupe has neither a predecessor model nor a direct competitor, ""says Michael-Julius Renz, managing director of Audi Sport GmbH, about the latest member of the RS family. ""The Sportback offers the ultimate in functionality with maximum performance."" The 2.9 liter TFSI V6 biturbo engine delivers power, efficiency and distinct RS sound. The new biturbo engine generates 444 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque available in a wide rev range from 1,900 to 5,000 rpm. The Audi RS5 Sportback sprints from 0 to 60 mph in under four seconds and achieves a top track speed of 155 mph, or increased to 174 mph with the optional Dynamic plus package. The two turbochargers on the 2.9-liter engine of RS5 are positioned directly inside the ""V"" promoting engine responsiveness and performance. For high engine efficiency, power and torque, the V6 engine uses a centrally mounted fuel injector and a combustion method with shorter compression and longer expansion phases. This B-cycle combustion process with central direct injectors further supports efficiency of the powertrain."
The Volkswagen Atlas Tanoak pickup truck concept made its world debut at the New York International Auto Show. Named after a species of tree that is native to the Pacific Coast in the U.S. (and grows up to 135 feet high in height), the Atlas Tanoak is the first pickup based on Volkswagen’s MQB or modular transverse matrix architecture. Powered by a 276-horsepower V6 FSI gasoline engine, the Atlas Tanoak uses an efficient eight-speed automatic transmission and the 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system. Although there are currently no production plans for the Atlas Tanoak, Volkswagen is keen to gauge the reactions of buyers and media, since pickup trucks are one of the biggest volume segments in the U.S. The MQB architecture is one of the most innovative and flexible technical platforms in the automotive world, spanning vehicles from the European Polo subcompact all the way up to the Atlas midsize SUV. The Atlas Tanoak concept shows that MQB can potentially stretch even further. The Tanoak concept is 214.1 inches long, some 15.8 inches longer than the Atlas, which makes it a large midsize pickup by U.S. standards. The concept vehicle is 79.9 inches wide and 72.6 inches tall, with a wheelbase of 128.3 inches, 11 inches longer than the Atlas seven-seater.
