Just as Ray Allen was a star on the court, the world debut of his Maserati Levante GTS ONE OF ONE is sure to be the star of the 2019 New York International Auto Show. This latest creation of Maserati's ONE OF ONE customization program is entirely personalized for the two-time NBA Champion and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee. In New York on April 17, Ray received the keys to his never seen before Maserati Levante GTS ONE OF ONE and consumers will be able to view his unique vehicle during the auto show.
"Maserati reveals the first Levante built around a V8 engine at the New York International Auto Show. It is the Levante trofeo, the ultimate Maserati of SUVs, capable of accelerating in style from 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds (0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds) and reaching a top speed of over 187 mph (>300 km/h). The Levante trofeo is equipped with one of the most powerful engines ever fitted in a Maserati. A 3.8-litre Twin Turbo V8 engine that has been engineered to perfectly mate with the Q4 Intelligent All-Wheel Drive System and delivers an astounding 590 hp at 6,250 rpm and 538 lb.-ft. (730 Nm) of peak torque at 2,250 – 5,000 rpm. The engine boasts the highest output per litre (156 hp/litre) of any Maserati powerplant ever produced and, like all Maserati petrol engines, is assembled by Ferrari in Maranello, Italy. The chassis of the fastest Levante ever has been tuned to handle the higher power output and provides an exhilarating driving experience with no compromise in terms of comfort. This tuning ensures the Levante trofeo continues to embody the essence of the Maserati GranTurismo philosophy with supercar performance."
Maserati Levante V8 Ultima and Maserati Ghibli 334
Animated by a 580 horsepower V8 engine, they will speed along on 21-inch wheels, the largest sizes within this range. The hood of the Ghibli, already considered one of the most beautiful sedans ever, will boast two supplementary air vents, which relieve the heat whilst bustling a gritty roar. The lateral air vents, on the other hand, are bordered in red and wield the Trofeo name. The interiors are to be wrapped in full-grain Pieno Fiore natural leather and, just like the exteriors, they will boast 100% carbon-fibre inserts: Ghibli and Quattroporte in their Sunday best.Even the infotainment is new: a processor that’s four times as powerful, screen resolution that’s ten times better and a memory with twice the capacity of the previous version. This new system, featuring a high-resolution screen similar to a tablet, will render the user experience much more enjoyable, complete and customisable. The Italian flag will embellish the central pillar and, for their official launch, the Quattroporte model will be green, white Levante and red Ghibli. Because these superheroes are Made in Italy. Furthermore, Levante Trofeo, has been restyled with new rear lights, a new infotainment system and new design features.
