According to sources, Seagate gearing up to launch a 16TB hard drive within the next 18 months. CEO Stephen Luczo said in a recent statement that the company is currently testing a 12TB drive, with the initial feedback being very positive. He then went on to add that Seagate also has a 14TB model in the works as well.
