The main Suzuki novelty at EICMA 2023 is the GSX-S1000GX, a motorcycle that masterfully embodies multiple souls and is ready to conquer those looking for maximum performance and versatility, combined with the best technology available today in the world of two wheels .From an aesthetic point of view, the GSX-S1000GX embodies the concept of the Suzuki brand luxury crossover. Its line combines the grit of a sports car and the elegance of a tourer in a modern whole, well enhanced by three colors that enhance the personality of the model.The superstructures are both streamlined and protective. Their shape has been optimized in the wind tunnel and is integrated by the presence of hand guards and a three-position adjustable windshield in the standard equipment, which surmounts a powerful full LED headlight unit. The driving position is comfortable and guarantees total control.From the first, the GSX-S1000GX also inherits the four-cylinder engine with 152 HP and 106 Nm of torque, combined with the servo-assisted clutch with SCAS anti-hopping. This engine is inserted into a double-spar aluminum frame, the same material also used for the swingarm derived directly from that of the legendary and multi-titled GSX-R1000.On a chassis level, the GSX-S1000GX debuts the first electronic suspension ever used on a production Suzuki. The Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspensions (SAES) uses a Hitachi Astemo (Showa) SFF-CA fork and a BFRC-lite rear shock.The fact that the suspensions are managed electronically allows the GSX-S1000GX to adapt the set-up to the most disparate conditions and situations. A first example comes from the innovative Suzuki Floating Ride Control (SFRC) technology, which modifies the suspension hydraulics to allow them to better copy any bumps that may occur in sequence, thus limiting the bike's oscillations.

The new turbocharger helps the engine produce impressive torque from low in the rev range, while the small displacement and direct fuel injection system optimises fuel consumption.The direct fuel injection system features seven-hole injector nozzles, enabling increased fuel pressure and highly atomised fuel injection, resulting in higher engine output and a cleaner exhaust.The turbocharger system is equipped with normally-closed wastegate valve control, which defaults to the closed position to provide excellent response in normal driving, and opens to minimise fuel consumption when cruising.
