2024 Nissan Qashqai Interior Design

Description

Nothing stands still for long in the highly competitive crossover segment that Nissan pioneered with the original Qashqai. And to maintain its place as the reference in its segment, it has received a comprehensive aesthetic refresh, as well as significant technology updates. From the bold changes to the exterior styling, to the comprehensive updates to the infotainment and connected services on-board, the philosophy behind the changes to Qashqai is to keep the essence of what consumers love about the car, enhance its strengths and to add even more intuitive and convenient technology. The new Qashqai exudes a sharp and modern dynamism thanks to its refreshed design. The front grille of the Qashqai has been comprehensively updated to create a more striking first impression. Inspired by the patterns of ancient Japanese armour scales, it now consists of dozens of high gloss, three dimensional comma-shaped elements painted in high gloss black paint which appear to float in the space between the lip of the bonnet and the numberplate holder. To the sides of the central portion, the ""commas"" form a triangular shape from the new headlights down to a point to the side of the numberplate and they are finished in a ""satin chrome"" hot foil stamp, on the top grade version. The flanks of the bumper are body-coloured and a strip of black in a high-gloss finish runs below the numberplate to the lower corners of the bumper. Underneath the cooling aperture, there is a thin body-coloured ""chin strap"" which gives a sense of definition to the front.

  • 2024 Nissan Qashqai - Upscaled interior trim

Once potential or existing Qashqai customers have had their interest piqued by the refreshed exterior, that curiosity will be heightened once they immerse themselves in the revised interior. For the upper grades, there is a new application of Alcantara on the dashboard, door inserts, door armrests, centre storage console lid and even the knee pads all combine to elevate the on-board ambience.New patterned materials adorn the centre console around the gear selector and the decoration insert between the upper dashboard and glovebox, underlining the attention to detail which underpins Japanese craftsmanship.Updated seat trims have been introduced across the upper three grades of Qashqai for an even more premium feel. Most notable is the black partially quilted premium leather on the top spec Qashqai. On the penultimate grade, there's a quilted synthetic leather which is complemented by "burnt umber" flashes on the seat base and shoulders of the seat upright. The seats on the N-Design grade feature black leather with quilting, and Alcantara inserts, while specific embossed "Qashqai" wordmark adorns the section just below the headrest.Another new dimension to the elevated life-on-board feeling is the addition of ambient lighting on the N-Connecta, N-Design grades and above. Advanced red/green/blue LEDs discreetly located to allow the driver (or passenger) to personalise the interior lighting according to their own mood. On the two top grades, the LEDs are also located in the rear so all occupants can enjoy the effect. The ambient lighting settings can be controlled via the central infotainment screen.

  • 2024 Nissan JUKE N-Sport Yellow Interior Design

For its mid-lifecycle refresh, Nissan is reintroducing a yellow exterior colour option on its Juke urban crossover in response to customer demand, following its popularity on the first generation Juke.As well as the introduction of the new yellow, Nissan's designers and engineers have made significant changes to the Juke's interior to elevate the ambience of life-on-board, with a redesigned centre console and instrument panel. The interior also benefits from new materials, trim and upgraded fit and finish. And the car's connectivity has been updated with a larger touchscreen and additional features. And the mid-life upgrades also sees the introduction of an additional grade called N-Sport, which emphasises the Juke's dynamic qualities both on exterior and interior details. The re-introduction of a yellow exterior paint option in the Juke range is a direct consequence of customers who had loved the yellow when it was introduced on the first generation Juke asking for it. The new yellow is different in hue to the shade on the previous generation of Juke. Compared to the one offered on the previous Juke, the new one is slightly paler, giving a more modern and impactful look. When specified in the new N-Sport trim, the new yellow's impact is heightened by the contrast of the yellow with the black roof, wheels door mirrors, wheel arch inserts, grille and A- and B-pillars. The overall effect elevates the Juke's natural visual impact, with an added splash of swagger and attitude.

  • All-new Nissan Qashqai - Interior Design in Blue

Nissan has again raised the small SUV bar with a completely new Qashqai that is even roomier than before, and which features a new turbo-petrol engine with more power and torque, improved fuel economy and lower emissions.Penned at the studios of Nissan Design Europe in London and engineered at the Nissan Technical Centre in Bedfordshire, UK, the new Qashqai is also the first vehicle globally to use Nissan’s innovative CMF-C architecture, which boasts a 48 percent increase in structural rigidity. In terms of construction, the body-in-white makes use of more lightweight materials, as well as advanced stamping and welding techniques, not just to increase strength, but to also reduce weight. For the first time, the rear hatchback door on the Qashqai is now made of a composite material, which saves a further 2.6kg.Central to the engineering vision was to retain the current Qashqai’s proportions, which are “just right” and key to its success, meaning it comfortably navigates urban roads and fits comfortably in parking spaces, while also giving excellent interior space. The front and rear doors, front fenders and bonnet are all now made of aluminium, which offers a weight-saving, and the total net advantage for customers, thanks to all the advanced manufacturing techniques, is that the overall body-in-white is lighter by 60kg and stiffer by 41 percent compared to the outgoing model.

  • 2022 Nissan Qashqai e-POWER Interior Design

The Qashqai, which is regarded as a pioneer in the crossover segment, is once again setting standards: the compact bestseller is the first Nissan model in Europe to feature the unique e-POWER drive. The system, which was developed independently by the company, offers the advantages of purely electric driving without having to worry about range and long charging times. In contrast to conventional hybrid vehicles, the electric motor, which responds immediately and linearly, always drives the wheels. The energy is supplied by a battery, which a small combustion engine charges while driving.

  • All-New Nissan Qashqai Interior Design

Underpinning the all-new Nissan Qashqai is the new Alliance CMF-C platform, which has allowed Nissan’s product-planners, designers and engineers to create a vehicle which succeeds in reconciling the challenging customer demands in terms of design, spaciousness, dynamics and carbon footprint. The CMF-C platform is a completely new architecture, designed and developed to ensure the vehicles it carries are competitive, offering the driving and ownership experience that customers will need in a time of dramatic progress in the automotive industry. In terms of driving dynamics, one of the most significant factors in the dynamic performance is the overall increase of stiffness in the new Qashqai’s body in white – with a 48% improvement compared to the outgoing model. With a more rigid basis, Nissan’s engineers have been able to more precisely tune the suspension spring and damper rates, knowing they are reacting to the changes in surfaces – not the movements of the platform. This increases precision, response and reduces vibrations.Despites its overall increase in stiffness, the bodyshell is over 60kg lighter which contributes to the new Qashqai’s overall efficiency, while also reducing inertia when driving, so drivers will feel the improvement in agility. There are two rear suspension configurations, with a torsion beam being the configuration for two-wheel drive Qashqai on 19-inch wheels or below. The torsion beam has been upgraded from the outgoing Qashqai, with a new upper body insulator which increases local body stiffness and reduces the transmission of vibrations to the passenger compartment. And the addition of an uprated bump stop, which helps to infuse the rear suspension with a more supple motion and protection from shocks. To maximise the effectiveness of the dampers, their orientation has been changed to a more vertical position which reduces friction and therefore optimises their performance, ensuring better bump absorption and a smoother ride, as well as providing better roll control.
