The 88th running of the Geneva International Motor Show gets underway on March 6 and organizers have confirmed a total 110 world or European premieres. More than 180 exhibitors will be present at the show, including all your favorite performance and luxury marques plus a number of newcomers. Approximately 700,000 visitors are expected to cross the floors of the various halls that make up Geneva’s Palexpo convention center. Top VW executives have been fired, fined, accused of crimes and, in one case, sent to prison. Sales suffered, profits went poof, and VW scrambled to remake itself.
Today's date will be remembered as a milestone for the Renault Group in China. During a press conference (access to broadcast) held at the Shanghai Motor Show, Thierry Bolloré, CEO of the Renault Group, presented a clear roadmap and ambitious objectives of the Group in China for 2022: a target of as many as 550,000 units sold to the year, in line with the Drive the Future plan. To achieve this ambition, the Renault Group opens a new chapter in the history of Renault on the Chinese electric vehicle market by presenting the Renault City K-ZE: 100% electric global segment A urban vehicle with an SUV design.
