Not only bi-fuel. DR EVs are coming in the immediate future.DR3 EV, launched as a world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show 2019, is leading the way to a real electric range, that will be marketed between the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020. There will be three models, a city car and two SUVs, including DR3 EV.With a total capacity of 54.3 kw supplied by the 24 lithium-ion batteries, equal to about 400 km of autonomy (which reach 500 km with a constant driving at 60 km /h) and a maximum power of 90 kw, the DR3 EV represents the top of the technology currently available for electric mobility. The revolutionary ternary lithium ion technology (Nickel-Cobalt-Aluminum) used by DR, guarantees low temperatures, high energy density, high charge efficiency, good cycle duration. All with a weight of the battery pack of just 385 kg. Unthinkable performance with first-generation lithium-iron phosphate batteries.Slow charging times range from 6 to 8 hours. The fast half-hour charge guarantees 80% battery efficiency anyway. Also the electric range will be full optional as standard. The DR3 EV, in addition to the rich equipment of the bi-fuel version, in addition has the ability to choose between the driving modes Eco and Sport and the sound alarm for pedestrians when the car is moving.
Michelin has reveal the new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres that will equip the latest-generation ABB FIA Formula E Championship all-electric cars at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The new Michelin Pilot Sport is both lighter and more energy-efficient than ever thanks to a particularly ambitious development programme.
It’s Alpina’s time to shine with the updated BMW 7-series and here is their offering: the updated B7, complete with equally gigantic grille. The B7 is 0.2sec faster to 62mph than the updated (and V12-equipped) M760Li version of the facelifted 7-er, capable of doing the launch in just 3.6 seconds. It’s also capable of a 205mph max speed. It's seriously quick.
The new concept car by GFG Style, a two-seater, electric hyper-SUV with 4-wheel drive and 4-wheel steering, is called Kangaroo and its styling is a match for any terrain, thanks to its functionality and technology. The electric platform has been developed in collaboration with CH Auto and presents a carbon fiber body covering an advanced alluminium space frame. "Currently - says Fabrizio Giugiaro, who has taken care of the styling with Giorgetto Giugiaro - we are only revealing the "eyes" of this extraordinary concept that, as in our tradition, will be completely unveiled in Geneva and drivable after the show on any terrain".
Meet the new Tonale concept revealed at the 2019 Geneva motor show. This crossover is the second larger car from the brand, and just as significantly marks the proper start of Alfa Romeo’s venture into electrification by using a new plug-in hybrid powertrain. Alfa Romeo Tonale SUV It’s meant to be smaller than the Stelvio model already on sale. The Tonale is a rather pretty thing – arguably prettier than its larger sibling, and has classic Alfa design touches like the 21-inch ‘phone dial’ wheels like the 33 Stradale from the 60s. Nice touches like those will help differentiate it from the FCA platform it'll inevtiably be based on.
