Benin protesters defy army in post-election violence

Description

Hundreds of protesters in Benin man burning barricades to defy police and soldiers in unrest that follows a controversial election held without a single opposition candidate. One female protester was shot dead, and another man hospitalized with a gunshot wound in his back.
