Lamborghini returns to the ice in Livigno with Esperienza Neve in the beautiful setting of the Alps, where guests can test drive the entire Lamborghini range on the snowy circuit accompanied by Lamborghini Accademia drivers, including Factory Driver Leonardo Pulcini and Super Trofeo drivers. The 2023 edition stars the Huracán EVO, Huracán STO, Huracán Tecnica and Urus Performante. Under varying temperature conditions, with lows of up to -18°C, and in the perfect dynamic environment for a fun-to-drive experience, every rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive car has the chance to express its capabilities in a different way on the ice track: a unique burst of color set against the white of the snow and ice. This Automobili Lamborghini program, held in Livigno for the eighth year running, involves a series of exercises to practice driving on low-grip surfaces and become familiar with the different models, ensuring that every participant has the chance to maximize their potential and discover the performance of the Lamborghini super sports car on winter tracks. All of this, of course, without compromising on fun or safety.
As Automobili Lamborghini heads to the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed from 23 to 26 June, the Duke of Richmond takes time to drive the Lamborghini Huracán EVO and give his insight into the importance of the Italian super sports marque at the UK’s foremost motoring event. The Duke describes the impact of seeing a Lamborghini, like a great piece of art. He remembers spotting his first green Miura as a teenager and talks about the emotion of a Lamborghini engine’s musical score playing out behind the driver’s head.As Lamborghini, other manufacturers, race teams, drivers, partners and visitors gear up for this year’s event, the Duke reminisces over his childhood memories of Goodwood motor circuit and how he started the infamous hill climb that is such an intrinsic part of Festival of Speed. Heading towards its 30th anniversary next year – as Lamborghini gears up for its 60th – the Duke of Richmond acknowledges that there are some brands that are integral to Goodwood Festival of Speed: Lamborghini is one.
Automobili Lamborghini presents the Huracán Tecnica: the next-generation rear-wheel drive V10, developed for pilots seeking driving fun and lifestyle perfection on both road and track. The Tecnica’s moniker embodies the advanced evolution of the Huracan’s technical prowess and, instantly distinguishable, is as much a Huracán innovation externally as it is under the hood, with its new looks accenting improved aerodynamics for heightened performance, stability and ease of use, particularly on a circuit. Taking its engine from the Huracán STO, with an increase of 30 CV over the Huracán EVO rear-wheel drive (RWD), the powertrain delivers 565 Nm of torque at maximum 6,500 rpm and improved acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. The lightweight Tecnica’s recalibrated LDVI system and distinctly tuned driving modes with specific suspension set-up, rear-wheel direct steering, and innovative brake cooling improvements allow the driver to experience the perfect Huracán for every occasion: the Huracán Tecnica exploits its talents to deliver the best of both worlds - a poignantly versatile super sports for road and track.
Automobili Lamborghini is now enhancing the connected services offering in its Huracán EVO models from the beginning of 2021, comprising navigation, comfort, safety and entertainment functions. Lamborghini Connect adds new ‘peace of mind’ services through connection to the Lamborghini UNICA app: a car-finder function, vehicle status report and geofencing functions such as remote speed and valet alerts, join the existing in-car connected services related to Navigation and Entertainment. Remote updates for the Lamborghini Infotainment System (LIS) are now also available ‘over the air’.Lamborghini is the first car manufacturer to incorporate comprehensive in-car control by Amazon Alexa. From now on, Web radio and Apple CarPlay, already available on the Huracán EVO, are joined by Alexa and Android Auto on Huracán EVO 2021 models, specified with the ‘Smartphone Interface and Connected Services’ option. Drivers of the Huracán EVO can adjust in-car functions such as climate, lighting and seat heating, as well as control navigation, telephone calls and entertainment with a simple ‘Alexa’ voice command, leaving them to focus on the road.
Automobili Lamborghini reveals the new Huracán EVO Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder virtually, using for the first time Augmented Reality (AR) on its official website. The new V10 model provides drivers with an open-air celebration of lightweight engineering, with rear-wheel drive and a specially tuned Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS). Roof up or down, daily driving and high-performance fun are accompanied by the inimitable sound of the V10 aspirated power plant, delivering the same 610 hp (449 kW) and 560 Nm of torque as the coupé version. With a 0-100 km/h acceleration of just 3,5 seconds and a top speed of 324 km/h, like its coupé stablemate the Spyder is an instinctive driver’s car, delivering a fun-to-drive experience via hardware rather than software. The Huracán EVO RWD Spyder’s design optimizes the integration and function of the extremely lightweight soft top. The Spyder is a true Lamborghini with roof open and closed, sporting inimitable lines from every profile that confirm it is as dynamic in both looks and performance whether roof on or off. The Spyder’s exterior lines ensure drag reduction and downforce matches that of the coupé without requiring additional aerodynamic appendages, while enhancing the rear-wheel drive car’s balance and dynamism with roof both up and down.
