EU Fines Google For Antitrust Violation

Description

According to CNN, the European Union fined Google for a third time over antitrust violations. The latest fine was ordered by the European Commission because Google abused its position in online search advertising. European Commissioner Margrethe Vestager said Google shielded its advertising business from competitive pressure by imposing contractual restrictions on rivals.
