Matt Hardy Says John Oliver's WWE Claims Are 'Outdated'


Comedian John Oliver recently hosted a segment on his HBO series focused on the WWE. The report on “Last Week Tonight” went into WWE’s business practice of signing wrestlers as independent contractors. According to Comicbook.com this practice changes the health coverage and benefits they receive. WWE reacted to the report, releasing a statement that disputes Oliver’s claims about the franchise. WWE veteran Matt Hardy was asked about the segment and said Oliver’s talking points were “outdated.”
