ABC President Dispels Rumors Of Recasting Constance Wu

After ABC announce it would renew “Fresh Off the Boat,” Constance Wu wrote a series of tweets. In those tweets the actress seemed upset of the renewal, saying she was “literally crying.” According to Business Insider, Wu later explained her tweets were not about the show but about missing another opportunity. ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke was asked whether they might recast Wu after her comments.
