  • Civil Rights Groups Sue Twitter For Not Suspending Trump's Account

Amid President Donald Trump's frantic tweets demanding a stop to voting, Twitter itself is being sued for not suspending Trump's account. Business Insider reports the suit comes from two national, nonpartisan organizations. They're calling for CEO Jack Dorsey to temporarily suspend Trump's Twitter account over multiple violations of the company's civic integrity policy. The president has made various tweets in the last few days including baseless claims of election fraud and prematurely declaring victory. Twitter announced well ahead of Election Day that it would add labels to tweets that included misleading content. But the joint letter states that doing so 'does not go far enough' as the results of the 2020 presidential election remain unofficial.

  • Report: Trump Is Making DC's Swamp Wider And Deeper

When then-candidate Donald Trump was stumping for office, he repeatedly promised to 'drain the swamp' inside the DC beltway. But according to Business Insider, a New York Times investigative report reveals the Trump administration is decidedly boggy. Individuals, foreign governments, and lobbyists are spending big at President Donald Trump's resorts and hotels, and, in turn, are benefitting from his administration. 60 individuals had spent $12 million in Trump's businesses and, in some form, saw their interests advanced by his administration. After his inauguration, Trump did not divest himself of his business holdings entirely, meaning he continues to profit from them.

I remind you that it's an autonomous institution, here is no specific order, if we talk about an order then what we want is to uproot corruption in Mexico, and this is being done within a legal framework, it is an accusation made with evidence, that is why this detention in Spain took place, and the details are already known, the crimes for which he is accused, which has to do with the case of Odebretch and also with the purchase of fertilizer plants. That is what is being investigated and what led to his apprehension. There is a real state of law, it is no longer as it was before when we suffered from an unlawful state, now we can talk about a state of law, there is no protection for anyone, anyone who commits a crime is punished"
