Exoskeleton Allowing Paralyzed People to Walk Again Presented at CeBIT

Description

A person with paralysis was able walk at Hanover's CeBIT expo, Sunday, with the help of an exoskeleton created by Ekso Bionics and Vodafone. The patient can move the robot utilising his torso by pressing two buttons and shifting his weight from left to right. According to Sebastian Erhardt, the individual testing the exoskeleton, the process feels very close to sensation of walking for real. The exoskeleton uses technology that connects the suit to Vodafone's Internet of Things (IoT), improving its operational qualities. The exoskeleton is approved by the FDA and is already being tested by some hospitals in the US. Do you know someone with a mobility problem who might benefit from an exoskeleton?
