Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he will offer an "unreserved" apology in parliament after the legislature publicly celebrated a Ukrainian World War II veteran who fought alongside the Nazis. The US Justice Department announces it has shut down the Hive ransomware operation, which had extorted more than $100 million from more than 1,500 victims worldwide. "Last night, the Justice Department dismantled an international ransomware network responsible for extorting and attempting to extort hundreds of millions of dollars from victims in the United States and around the world," says Attorney General Merrick Garland.
