The next version of Apple's streaming box will be compatible with Bluetooth game controllers. According to a report from 9-to-5-Mac, the box will support third-party manufactured peripherals. That will pave Apple's way towards the revenue from the recent popularity in mobile gaming on streaming devices. Such as Google's Android TV and Amazon's Fire TV, The company is also expected to introduce the press to the new Apple TV next week during an event in San Francisco. The new package reportedly ships with an enhanced remote control, that can be used as a game controller, but in limited capacity.

Google is looking to give other AI competitors like Apples Siri and Amazons Alexa a run for their money with the introduction of Goggle Assistant. The Google Assistant, allows users to perform tasks such as control smart home devices, make appointments in your calendar events, and of course the tradition online searches by asking questions. Googles device boast the ability of allowing users to interact with the software without having to use a phone keyboard or other physical input.
Amazon is a giant in e-commerce, and it’s throwing its weight around today. In an email to marketplace sellers, Amazon says it will stop sales of streaming devices from Apple and Google by October 29. They don’t work with Amazon Instant Video. According to the email, the sales ban covers the Apple TV, Chromecast, and Nexus Player. “Over the last three years, Prime Video has become an important part of Prime. It’s important that the streaming media players we sell interact well with Prime Video in order to avoid customer confusion. Roku, XBOX, PlayStation and Fire TV are excellent choices.”
