This gritty exploration of the American dream stars Isaac and Chastain in the leading roles as husband and wife Abel and Anna Morales, alongside a strong supporting cast including: Albert Brooks (Drive); David Oyelowo (The Butler); Alessandro Nivola (American Hustle); Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace); and, British newcomer Elyes Gabel (Game of Thrones, Interstellar). The film is Chandor’s third feature as writer-director following the critically acclaimed and award-winning films Margin Call (2011) and All is Lost (2013). A MOST VIOLENT YEAR reunites Chandor with his All is Lost Production Designer John P. Goldsmith and features an original score by Alex Ebert, who was awarded a Golden Globe® for his work on All is Lost.
