There are some striking similarities between the MacBook keyboard and the ones the one found in the Type Cover for the Surface Pro 4. They are virtually the same size. Neither one feels cramped and both Microsoft and Apple managed to leave a lot of space between the keys. But the Type Cover offers the better typing experience and this is mostly due to travel or “how much the key moves when you type on it.”Apple did its best to invent a new way for keyboard keys to move up and down because there’s so little space under the keyboard. Typing on the MacBook keyboard feels fine, but typing on a Type Cover is an air mattress experience for your fingertips.
