If you ever had your car towed, you know how expensive it can be. One driver in Russia who wanted to avoid calling a tow truck, found a creative and cost-effective way to move his car.
Bodycam footage provided courtesy of the Limestone Police Department shows the nail-biting moment when firefighter Scott Patten was blown clear off his feat by an unexpected explosion while responding to a blaze in Limestone, Maine on Thursday. Scott received first and second degree burns to his face and head due to the explosion but has since been released from hospital, surviving the epic blast to tell his unreal tale.
Thrill seeker Denis Zaychuk dropped his GoPro camera into the ocean while cliff diving in Russia's far east in August 2015 and thought that his beloved action camera was lost to the seas forever when he received a special surprise. The GoPro was discovered by a scuba diver who uploaded the last video from the cam onto Instagram. Denis saw the video, contacted the publisher of the account, and finally got his GoPro back after the good samaritan shipped it 4,000 miles to Moscow. Believe it or not, the camera still works fine.
Dozens of protesters marched through the streets of Charlotte on Sunday, for the sixth day running following the fatal police shooting of a 43-year-old black man named Keith Lamont Scott. The National Guards as well as police were deployed to secure the area, including a helicopter, riot police on buses, as well as officers on bicycles and golf cars. At least one person was arrested during the peaceful protest and activists were forced to march on the sidewalk as they made their way to the city centre.
