Apple CEO Tim Cook's pay package totaled $14.7 million last year. Business Insider reports that's around a 28% jump from 2019. Apple disclosed in its annual proxy statement on Tuesday. Cook's compensation included a base salary of $3 million, $10.7 million in performance-based pay. He also received nearly $1 million in travel and security expenses.
People use Virtual Private Networks to keep their data private and secure, as VPNs cloak your IP address and encrypt your internet traffic activity. Remember: If the product is 'free,' then you're probably the product. Your data is being harvested and sold by the VPN provider. Your security is at risk. The provider isn't making money off you, so why should it spend money protecting you? Finally, many of the most popular free VPNs have some form of Chinese ownership.
