Amazon's pre-Black Friday sale has already kicked off. But Business Insider says that the real deals will be online on November 27, Black Friday. Every year, on the day after Thanksgiving, Amazon offers big discounts on electronics, home goods, fashion, and more. This year will be no different. Look out for both daily deals and Lightning deals on Black Friday. Daily deals are one-day offers, usually organized by a brand or category. Lightning deals are usually available for less than 24 hours, and released throughout the day. Expect huge discounts, possibly up to 50%, on every product category that Amazon offers, including their own in-house brands, like Fire devices, Kindles, and Echo smart home.
Amazon installs over 15,000 robots in 10 U.S. warehouses, a move that promises to cut operating costs by 20 percent and get packages out the door faster for Christmas. Mana Rabiee reports.
Cyber Monday is on November 30 this year. Due to the pandemic, many retailers aren't just doing in-store deals for Black Friday. Macy's, which is struggling amid pandemic shutdowns, is expected to offer Cyber Monday deals on accessories, clothing, home goods, and more. Macy's is making it extra easy for shoppers to get their purchases quickly. The company is going out of it's way to attract customers, offering curbside and in-store pickup, as well as same-day and next-day delivery.
Black Friday 2020 is next week. Business Insider reports that this year's Black Friday is shaping up to be unlike any that came before it. Several retailers are deemphasizing in-store shopping. Many retailers are opting for several, limited-time sales during the lead up to the big day. Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Kohl's, Macy's, Target, The Home Depot, and Walmart are currently offering several early Black Friday deals in stores and online.
