I Can Only Imagine Sequel In the works

According to SF Gate, Jon Erwin, Andrew Erwin and producing partner Kevin Downes are joining forces once again with Lionsgate for their next faith-based film, “I Still Believe." The upcoming film will tell the story of Christian musician Jeremy Camp. Camp is a world renowned Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter. He has sold over 5 million albums and has toured all over the world. The film is the Erwin Brothers’ second collaboration with Liosgate after their hit “I Can Only Imagine." "I Still Believe” will begin production this spring and will premiere in theaters on March 20th 2020.

CNN reports that Oscar-winner Barry Jenkins has signed on to direct a sequel of the "The Lion King." The live-action "Lion King" was a success, grossing an estimated $1.66 billion worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. The cast included Donald Glover and Beyoncé.
